Role at Paul Beare Ltd
I am the first point of contact for all new clients. I complete checks, gather all information necessary to pass on for setting up a business. I arrange Client Trust Accounts and complete applications for setting up ‘real’ bank accounts. I liaise with the bank on behalf of our clients and act as the go-between. I help with the payments process for clients, paying salaries, bills etc making sure there have enough funds in their accounts for payments and liaising with them when funds are required. I also speak with potential new clients, understanding their requirements and pass to Paul for him to build the initial relationship with the company.
I worked for the RBS Group (bank) for 15 years as a Bank manager, a Private Banking Manager and finally a Relationship Manager responsible for looking after clients with earning over a certain level etc. I also opened business accounts for clients – which is how I met Paul. My role mainly was to support clients and stakeholders alike building trust and loyalty, whilst naturally supporting the bank to earn an income.
Benefits of working at PB Ltd?
Paul trusts that I will do my work and makes me feel valued– and because of that – I probably work harder! The work is varied and interesting as no two clients are the same. I get to find out about people and what they do and support them to achieve their ambitions.
